Job summary

WR Engineering in the Midlands is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to support customers across the UK, combining office and field-based work.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical and software faults on commercial coffee machines, assist installation and commissioning, travel to customer sites and provide hands-on technical support, with full training and clear opportunities for long-term career progression within an international engineering business.

Qualifications

Experience working with commercial coffee machines is essential.
Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and software aspects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers and field engineers.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical and software faults on commercial coffee machines.
Provide telephone and remote technical assistance.
Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
Support installation, commissioning and servicing of coffee and vending equipment.
Configure, test and troubleshoot coffee machines and associated systems.
Assist engineers with technical queries and parts identification.
Produce technical reports and maintain accurate service records.
Liaise with internal engineering, product and service teams.
Provide technical guidance and training where required.
Identify recurring technical issues and contribute to product improvements.
Travel throughout the UK as required.
