Job summary
National Trust in Wales seeks a Welcome Manager to lead a seasonal team across Rhossili and Pennard sites. You will direct daily operations, deliver outstanding visitor experiences, and act as Duty Manager to ensure safety and service standards are met across busy periods.
You will coordinate staffing, support volunteers, and maintain high health, safety, and risk-management standards while promoting conservation and excellent visitor care across iconic locations.
Qualifications
- Experience leading and motivating teams.
- Deliver excellent customer service and enjoy engaging with people.
- Confident in managing busy visitor operations and responding to challenges.
- Strong organisational, problem solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of health, safety and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of seasonal staff and volunteers across Rhossili and Pennard sites, providing clear direction and day-to-day leadership.
- Act as Duty Manager, ensuring safe and effective operation of visitor facilities and car parks.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and memorable visitor experiences.
- Coordinate seasonal staffing, support volunteer involvement, and manage day-to-day operational challenges with a focus on health and safety.
