Job summary

Trident Recruitment is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner/ Programmer Setter Operator to join a precision engineering company in Larkhall. This permanent night shift role runs Monday to Thursday, offering a three-day weekend.

The base rate is up to £21.00 per hour, with a night shift allowance of 1.3x; at the maximum base rate, total hourly pay is about £27.30. The successful candidate will program, set and operate CNC lathes, read drawings, select tooling, and inspect parts to tight

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Turner is essential.
• Fanuc programming experience required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience in precision engineering environments.
• Ability to use micrometers, verniers and inspection tools.

Trident Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer Setter Operator to join an established precision engineering company based in Larkhall.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner looking for a permanent night shift working Monday to Thursday, giving you a three-day weekend every week.

The Role

• Programming using Fanuc controls
• Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a CNC Turner
• Previous Fanuc programming experience
• Ability to program, set and operate CNC turning machines
• Experience working within a precision engineering environment
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Confident use of micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment
• Ability to work independently

Shift & Pay

Permanent Night Shift – Monday to Thursday

Base rate: Up to £21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Night shift allowance: x1.3

At the maximum £21.00 base rate, the shift allowance takes the effective hourly rate to approximately £27.30 per hour.
