Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their precision engineering team in Northampton. You will program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes to produce high-quality components and ensure tight tolerances are met.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining exotic alloys.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines.
• Produce precision components to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
• Machine a variety of materials, including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks.
• Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards.
• Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (38-hour week) - £40,000-£45,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-12:00
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role
