Our client in Crayford seeks an experienced 3-Axis CNC Team Leader Senior Machinist to lead the 3-axis machining department. You will set, operate and program CNC machines while mentoring junior staff and driving improvements. Strong CADCAM experience and Heidenhain familiarity are highly valued.

This hands-on leadership role offers a 40-hour week with overtime as required; salary is £38,000 to £44,000 per annum plus benefits.

Our established client based in Crayford is seeking an experienced CNC Team Leader 3-Axis CADCAM

Experience with 3 axis and or 5 axis machines required.

Salary: £38,000 to £44,000 pa depending on relevant skills level/experience

Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, overtime when required

Our client is seeking a proactive 3-Axis CNC Team Leader Senior Machinist with strong CADCAM experience to join their dynamic engineering team. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the 3-axis machining department, driving continuous improvements, and mentoring the next generation of engineering talent.

This is a hands-on working leadership position. You will be expected to actively set, operate, and programme CNC machines while simultaneously balancing departmental and team leadership responsibilities.

CNC Team Leader Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Senior 3-Axis CNC Machinist or Team Leader.
• Strong proficiency in setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls is highly preferred.
• Hands-on CADCAM programming experience is essential.
• Natural leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring, training, and developing junior staff.
• A proactive mindset with a track record of driving continuous improvements
