A leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Poole is seeking a skilled CNC Miller/CNC Turner Setter/Operator. The successful candidate will set and operate CNC lathe machines with FANUC controls to produce high-quality components. Requirements include a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and strong experience with CNC machines. This is a full-time, fully onsite role, offering a competitive salary package including holidays and a pension scheme.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and proven ability to work with CNC Mill/Turn machines.

CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator Package

• £16.80 - £17.80 based on experience
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays
• 39 hour working week

CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator Role

• Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathe machines with FANUC controls
• Produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications
• Inspect your own work to meet drawing specifications
• Work flexibly to support production when required
• Fully onsite role in Poole

CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator Requirements

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
• Strong experience with CNC Mill/Turn machines and FANUC controls
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Familiarity with Nakamura machines and bar feed systems (advantageous but not essential)
• Must be commutable to Poole
