Hupsoo Ltd in Heybridge is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join our busy engineering team. You will programme and set CNC milling machines and work from engineering drawings with minimal input.

You will also prepare jobs for machine operators, check drawings for accuracy, and maintain high quality standards while managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience in CNC programming and setting.
• Experience with Siemens ShopMill programming.
• Ability to write CNC programs from scratch from drawings with minimal input.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and check work against drawings.
• Experience setting up jobs for operators to run independently.
• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling and cutting conditions.
• Familiarity with offline programming (Fusion 360) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

CNC Programmer / Setter - Siemens ShopMill

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join our busy engineering team.

The successful candidate will be confident programming and setting CNC milling machines and able to work independently from engineering drawings.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in CNC programming and setting.
• Strong experience with Siemens ShopMill programming.
• Ability to write CNC programs from scratch, working from engineering drawings with minimal input from others.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and accurately check your own work to ensure components meet drawing requirements.
• Experience setting up jobs for machine operators to run independently is essential.
• A good understanding of machining processes, tooling and cutting conditions.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards of quality.

Desirable:

• Experience with Fusion 360 for offline programming.

Up to £25 per hour for the right person

20 days holiday plus bank holidays

40 hour week - Mon to Thurs 7.30 - 16.30 (or 8.00 - 17.00)/Fri 7.30 - 13.30 (or 8.00 - 14.00)
