Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision engineering team in Stroud. The role covers setting, operating and programming CNC machines for turning and milling, using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls and Fusion 360 where required.

You will read engineering drawings, perform quality checks and work to tight tolerances, with hours Monday-Thursday and Friday half-day, with overtime opportunities and reviews based on performance.

• Experience in CNC setting, operating and programming.
• Background in CNC turning and/or milling.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter, Operator and Programmer to join their skilled machining team.

We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in CNC Turning and/or Milling, who can confidently set and operate CNC machinery and ideally programme using modern controls and software.

The Role

• CNC Setting, Operating and Programming
• Working on both Turning and or Milling machines
• Programming using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
• Utilising Fusion 360 software where required
• Producing high-quality precision components
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet required standards

Working Hours

Days

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm

Salary & Benefits

Candidate Requirements

• Previous CNC Setting, Operating and Programming experience
• Background in CNC Turning and/or Milling

• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
