Norbar Torque Tools Ltd. in Banbury is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support our day shift, manufacturing precision components.

You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, inspect parts against drawings using measuring tools, and perform routine maintenance.

The ideal candidate has Fanuc control experience, can read/edit programs, understands GD&T, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and edit CNC programs.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Experience with multi-pallet 5-axis Matsuura machinery (or similar).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including GD&T.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect components against engineering drawings using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Quality Control, and Shift Management to troubleshoot issues and achieve optimal efficiency.

Hours: 7am-5:15pm Mon-Thurs

Pay: £43,000 - £45,400 DOE

Key responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Milling machines to manufacture batches of precision components efficiently.
• Inspect components against engineering drawings using various measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance checks (daily, weekly, monthly) and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Quality Control, and Shift Management to troubleshoot issues and achieve optimal efficiency.

Who we’re looking for:

• Proven knowledge of ability to read and edit programs as required.
• Proven experience with Fanuc controls
• Previous experience working with multi-pallet 5 Axis Matsuura machinery (or similar).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, including knowledge of GD&T.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
