Job summary

Tarvin Precision Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our family-run, high-precision manufacturing team. You will set up and run milling machines to produce tight-tolerance parts in plastics and metal, primarily for low-volume, high-variety work.

Experience with Siemens, Haas, Heidenhain or FANUC controls, and turning capabilities are a plus. This in-person, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with pension and cycle-to-work benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inspection methods and quality checks.
• Adaptability to new systems and processes.

Join a family-run precision engineering company with a focus on low-volume / high variety machined parts, with openings for those with expertise working with mills.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components, primarily in plastics and metal materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in machining processes.

Duties

We are seeking a skilled CNC setter/operator to expand our manufacturing team, working with Mill machining, and possibly turning too for those with experience.

• Setting up and operating CNC machines
• Maintaining CNC machines
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances – low volume / high variety
• Inspecting parts using standard inspection tools
• Edit and set programs

Experience

Tarvin Precision is AS9100 certified, so the successful candidates will be detail-oriented, used to working with tight tolerances, and be adaptable to working with new systems.

• Milling (2 of Siemens, Haas, Heidenhain, FANUC)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent – 37.5 hour per week
