Job summary

Kinetic Plc in East Lancashire is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join a precision engineering operation with a strong technical reputation. You will set and program 4- and 5-axis machining centres, create/edit FANUC programmes, and offline-program using CAPT CAD/CAM or OneCNC, while interpreting drawings and selecting tooling to achieve high accuracy on exotic materials.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and setting 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres.
• Creating, editing and understanding FANUC CNC programmes.
• Producing programmes offline using CAPT CAD/CAM or OneCNC.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Selecting and establishing appropriate cutting tools and tooling requirements.
• Using a range of precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Machining exotic/specialist materials.
• Working to high levels of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

Salary: £37,000 - £38,500

Permanent | Days 8am - 4.30pm

Location: East Lancs; commutable from Wigan, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, St Helens, Burscough, Kirkby etc.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join a highly established and technically advanced manufacturing business in East Lancashire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong FANUC programming experience who is comfortable working with complex components and a variety of materials within a precision engineering environment.

The Role:
