Job summary

Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter to join their established manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This hands-on role involves programming and setting up Fanuc milling operations and reading precise engineering drawings to tight tolerances.

Working with a 37-person engineering operation, you will follow a structured shift pattern, typically 07:30–16:30 Monday to Thursday with Friday finish, or an early-rotation option, and a competitive salary ranging

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as CNC Miller Programmer Setter or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in programming and setting up Fanuc CNC milling machinery.
• Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds and tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to tight specs.

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role working with Fanuc machinery, offering a salary of £35,000 to £39,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will work a rotating shift pattern, typically Monday to Thursday 07:30–16:30, with an early finish on Friday at 12:30, or an alternative early shift rotation with the same Friday finish.

• Program and set up CNC milling operations on Fanuc machinery with precision and efficiency
• £35,000 to £39,000, with potential for discussion at £18–£19 per hour for candidates with five years' experience
• Permanent role in a 37-person engineering operation with a structured shift pattern and Friday early finish

Preferred Requirements
