Job summary

Shillito Group are recruiting for a well-established precision engineering business in Rotherham. This is a permanent days role paying up to £19 per hour, with an early finish every Friday.

You will programme, set and operate Fanuc controlled CNC milling machines, including 3, 4 and 5 axis work, reading detailed drawings and selecting tooling and feeds speeds. Experience with Fanuc controls and multi-axis machinery is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC milling experience.
• Ability to programme Fanuc controls.
• Reading engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of tooling, fixturing, feeds and speeds.

Up to £19 per hour

Shillito Group are recruiting for a well-established precision engineering business in Rotherham.

They are looking for an experienced CNC Miller who can programme, set and operate Fanuc controlled machinery.

Fanuc experience is needed, as well as experience using multi axis machinery.

You will be responsible for programming, setting and proving out jobs, selecting the right tooling and working from detailed engineering drawings.

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines


• Editing and optimising Fanuc programmes


• Working across 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery


• Selecting tooling, workholding, feeds and speeds


• Producing complex components to tight tolerances


• Carrying out first-off checks and making adjustments
