Job summary

Interaction Technical in Northamptonshire is seeking a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter & Operator to join their machining team. You will program, set and operate Fanuc CNC mills to produce high-precision components from various materials, following engineering drawings. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with overtime and progression opportunities in a busy precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Miller, Setter & Programmer.
• Strong experience with Fanuc controls.
• Programming experience essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining materials including 304, 316, Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components to specification from engineering drawings.
• Machine a range of materials including 304, 316, Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment and maintain quality.
• Support health and safety procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

Salary: £37,000 - £38,000 (38-hour week)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-12:00

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy precision engineering environment manufacturing complex components using advanced CNC milling machinery and specialist materials.

The Role

As a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components to exact specifications.

Working from engineering drawings, you will manufacture small and medium batch components from a range of materials including stainless steel, Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy alloys while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

You will become a key member of the milling department, supporting the continued success and growth of the business.
