Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking a time served CNC Machinist for a world class manufacturer in the North East. The role involves setting, programming and operating mills and lathes to tight tolerances on non-ferrous and steel alloys.

You will join a 3-shift pattern with no weekends and be rewarded with a competitive salary and overtime opportunities. Applicants should have CNC programming experience and a proven track record in an industrial engineering environment, with a willingness to train others

Qualifications

• A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience.
• Programming experience.
• Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment.
• Will be willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others.
• Flexible in their approach – willing to do overtime when required to suit customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

We are working with our client who are a world class manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Machinist on a full time, permanent basis. Excellent salary £23+ per hour! No Weekends! 3 shift pattern. We are looking for Millers and a Turners! You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
• Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium
• Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
• Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes

Person Specification

• A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience
• Programming experience
• Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment
