About the CNC Inspector role

You will be responsible for ensuring every component leaving the machine shop meets exact technical and customer specifications. Your day will be a mix of hands on inspection work, problem solving with machinists, and using your CMM knowledge to keep production running smoothly.

CNC Inspector Daily responsibilities
  • Carrying out detailed inspections on a range of machined metal components
  • Using CMMs confidently for measuring, programming, and completing accurate reports
  • Supporting production teams by identifying issues, advising corrections, and helping improve quality
  • Completing dimensional checks with micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and other equipment
  • Maintaining clear inspection documentation for audit trails and customer requirements
  • Playing an active part in continuous improvement activity
