Job summary

April Recruitment is assisting a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who are looking for a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their team. This permanent role offers £32,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE and standard 40-hour weeks.

You will set up and operate up to 5-axis machinery, read and interpret technical information, and work with Fanuc controls. A programming background is advantageous but not essential, with precise measurement and quality checking of components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
• PC literate and able to work to tight tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate up to 5 axis machinery.
• Read and interpret technical information.
• Programming would be an advantage but not essential.
• Familiar with Fanuc controls.
• Use a range of precision measuring instruments.
• Quality checking of components.
• General duties as required.
