Job summary

April Recruitment is assisting a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who are looking for a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their team. This permanent role offers £32,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE and standard 40-hour weeks.

You will set up and operate up to 5-axis machinery, read and interpret technical information, and work with Fanuc controls. A programming background is advantageous but not essential, with precise measurement and quality checking of components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
• PC literate and able to work to tight tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Job description

We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who require a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their team.

The position is a permanent role paying £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE).

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting and operating up to 5 axis machinery
• Must be able to read and interpret technical information
• The ability to programme would be an advantage but is not essential
• Familiar with managing and operating Fanuc controls
• Ability to use a range of precision measuring instruments
• Quality checking components
• Other general duties when required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar position
• Must be PC literate
• Must be able to work to tight tolerances
• Excellent attention to detail
