Job summary

FoodEng Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC 5 Axis Miller to join a precision engineering team in Hampshire. You will set, operate and program 5‑axis machining centres, work with Mazak tools and HyperMill CAD/CAM software, and ensure tight tolerances on demanding parts.

Ideal candidates will have strong milling, turning and Wire EDM skills, a fast, accurate work style and a commitment to quality. Benefits include a competitive salary (£37,500 - £48,800 pa), overtime and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Experienced 5-axis machinist using CADCAM.
• Ability to set up and run complex 5-axis programmes.

Liss / Midhurst, Hampshire

Salary £37,500 - £48,800 pa

A well-established precision engineering business is seeking to appoint an experienced CNC 5 Axis Miller / Setter. This company offer excellent benefits and long-term stability. The Role

The 5-Axis Miller will operate and program a variety of machines including simultaneous 4 or 5-axis. Parts are produced for customers in demanding industries such as Food Production, Defence, Space Exploration, Medical products and Scientific. For this role we are seeking an individual with good around workshop skills including Milling, Turning, Wire EDM.

• Setting, operating and running CNC 5 axis machining centres.
• Work with Mazak CNC machine tools and hyperMILL CAD/CAM software.
• Handle complex Mazak configurations.
• Carrying out machine setups for routed machining processes
• Supporting fixture, tooling and program improvements
• Machine a variety of metals and plastics.
• Work to high tolerances.

The Person

• Experienced 5-axis machinist using CADCAM.
• Highly accurate and fast worker.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with HyperMill and Mazatrol, although training can be provided.

Hours of Work

• Basic week of 37 ½ Hours
• 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday
• Plenty of overtime available
• 5 weeks holiday

Remuneration Package
