Job summary

Recruit4staff is representing a leading engineering company in their search for a CNC Setter Operator based in Ludlow. The role includes setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components while following ISO 9001:2015 procedures.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with 3-5 axis CNC milling and 2-3 axis CNC turning machines, as well as skills in reading engineering drawings and conducting quality inspections. Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and operating 3–5 axis CNC milling machines.
• Proven experience setting and operating 2–3 axis CNC turning machines.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
• Working from engineering drawings to produce parts to tolerances.
• Conducting quality inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Implementing new production methods to improve efficiency.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance on CNC machinery.
