Job summary

Everlast Gyms in Rugby is seeking a General Manager to take full ownership of the club’s performance across sales, service, operations and people development.

This hands-on leadership role requires leading from the front, inspiring high-performing teams and delivering an outstanding member experience while driving sustainable growth.

Reporting into the Area Manager, you’ll be accountable for membership growth, profitability and operational excellence across all club functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year's management experience within the fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail sectors.
• Proven experience leading and developing successful teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of achieving business targets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements.
• Positive, resilient and solutions-focused mindset.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
• Experience within a fitness or leisure environment.
• Level 2 Fitness Qualification.
• Understanding of membership sales, retention and club operations.
• Pool plant and Health & Safety experience.
