Job summary

Everlast Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead from the front, support the General Manager, and drive performance across sales, member experience and operations. You will develop high-performing teams, deliver exceptional service and foster a high-performing culture within a growing fitness brand.

You’ll recruit, coach and motivate staff, manage performance, and work across revenue streams including memberships and personal training to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Pool plant and Health & Safety experience.
• Knowledge of membership sales, retention and fitness operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall commercial and operational performance of the club and deliver best-in-class member experience.
• Drive sales through member engagement and conversion while monitoring KPIs.
• Manage and develop a motivated team through coaching, onboarding and regular feedback.
• Support local marketing activity and member growth initiatives.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and high operational standards across the club.
