Job summary

Everlast Gyms, part of Frasers Group, is seeking a General Manager to own the club's performance across sales, service, and operations. You will lead a high-performing team, develop talent and deliver an outstanding member experience while driving sustainable growth.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will drive membership growth, profitability and operational excellence, champion health and safety, and embed a culture of accountability, development and continuous improvement across the club.

Qualifications

Minimum one year's management experience within the fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail sectors
Proven experience leading and developing successful teams
Strong commercial awareness with a track record of achieving business targets
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays when required
Experience within a fitness or leisure environment
Level 2 Fitness Qualification
Understanding of membership sales, retention and club operations
Pool plant and Health & Safety experience

Responsibilities

Lead overall club performance and day-to-day operations.
Develop and coach high-performing teams; manage succession and development.
Drive memberships, retention and profitability; lead local marketing initiatives.
Oversee daily, weekly and monthly operations; ensure safety and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company policies; manage risk.
