Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the club's sales, member experience, operations and team performance. You will support the General Manager to deliver outstanding results and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will drive revenue streams, maintain high standards, and foster a welcoming, high-performance culture. The position offers progression within a growing fitness brand.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Flexible working patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Level 2 Fitness Qualification.
• Experience working within a gym, health club or leisure environment.
• Knowledge of membership sales, retention and fitness operations.
• Pool plant and Health & Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front to drive commercial and operational performance across the club.
• Develop high-performing teams and deliver outstanding member service.
• Coach, recruit, onboard and retain top talent with regular performance conversations.
• Support local marketing activity and member growth initiatives.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage day-to-day club operations and a best-in-class member journey.
