Job summary

UnderwriteMe Limited is seeking a Platform Engineer to maintain, optimise, and grow our cloud platform. You will drive low-level cloud architecture, improve developer experience, and advance SRE and cloud security across regions.

The role is hands-on and high-impact, collaborating with platform and product teams to enhance scalability and time-to-market. You will operate Kubernetes workloads at scale, implement IaC, and champion GitOps and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Strong Kubernetes ops, security and governance practices in production.
• Proficient with IaC and GitOps deployment patterns.
• Exposure to distributed AWS cloud platforms across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex platform initiatives from concept to production with timely delivery.
• Maintain and operate a global, highly available infrastructure across regions.
• Champion CI/CD, SRE practices, networking and cloud security improvements.
• Collaborate with product teams to guide cloud usage and road to production.
• Mentor engineers to grow design and architectural thinking.
