Job summary

CGI Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and support hybrid on-premises and cloud platforms in the UK.

The role focuses on Kubernetes, automation, and cloud-native tooling to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure for critical systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders across sites, implement IaC, and apply governance and security best practices while operating in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in infrastructure engineering across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Strong technical expertise with effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting secure, automated infrastructure using Kubernetes and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design & Deploy infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Innovate & Automate with Kubernetes-based platforms, containerisation, and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Secure & Govern infrastructure with security, compliance, and governance best practices.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve complex infrastructure issues with a problem-solving mindset.
• Monitor & Optimise using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate across diverse stakeholders and agile teams to drive continuous improvement.
