UnderwriteMe is seeking a Platform Engineer to maintain, optimise and grow a cloud platform across multiple regions. You will drive high-impact initiatives, ensure reliable production readiness, and improve developer experience while supporting product teams with scalable infrastructure.

You will operate Kubernetes workloads at scale, implement secure IaC configurations and contribute to improving time-to-market for our product teams, including two days per week in our London office as part of a

Formación

• Experience designing, building & operating distributed AWS cloud infrastructure with networking, IAM, observability & monitoring, security & governance.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform best practices with GitOps deployments.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives from discovery through delivery and to modernise legacy systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex platform initiatives from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery of reliable components.
• Maintain and operate a global, high-availability infra across multiple regions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and champion CI/CD, SRE, networking and cloud security.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to guide cloud architecture and platform usage.
• Mentor engineers to grow design and architectural thinking at scale.
• Research and drive adoption of new tools or patterns to improve developer experience.
