The post holder will work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, over a 37.5-hour week, as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT). Responsibilities include routine tasks such as clinic organization, chaperoning, providing personal care, and ensuring patients' nutrition and hydration needs are met. The post holder should be able to establish basic patient information like age, weight, and height.
Please note: If you do not have the essential qualifications or experience for a Band 3 role, you will be appointed at Band 2. Band 2 requirements include willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications to develop into a Band 3 role. Band 3 requirements include Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 or GCSE (A-C/4-9), Care certificate, Level 3 vocational qualification, or equivalent knowledge and experience in clinical care duties at Level 3.
The role involves delegated clinical duties, including clinical procedures, observations, pre-assessments, and supporting the department's daily operations. The aim is to provide individualized healthcare support according to patient needs.
