The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important part in supporting the teams who deliver our critical care service. Working closely with operational colleagues and crew, you’ll help coordinate the medical equipment, supplies, vehicles and systems that keep our service running smoothly, while also contributing to the welcoming and professional service provided by our Support Hub. No two days are the same, and your work will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver lifesaving care across Devon. On a typical day you could be coordinating medical stock and consumables across our airbases, arranging equipment servicing and repairs, supporting medicines and cold chain management, maintaining compliance and training records, liaising with suppliers, assisting with vehicle logistics, booking training, supporting patient aftercare administration, welcoming visitors to Head Office, and working with colleagues across the charity to ensure our operations run efficiently and effectively

The Candidate

We’re looking for a positive, practical and highly organised person who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting the details right. You'll be an excellent communicator and collaborative team member, with relevant experience in operational administration, logistics, stock control or healthcare support. Comfortable working across multiple priorities, you'll have strong coordination and administration skills, confidence using Microsoft 365 and databases, and the ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information appropriately. You'll also be calm, professional and adaptable, with the confidence to work independently when needed and the flexibility to support a wide range of operational and organisational activities. With a genuine commitment to excellent customer service and continuous improvement, you'll thrive in a role where teamwork, reliability and attention to detail are essential.

The Package

£28,500 per annum. This is a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave, based at our Head Office in Exeter and our Airbase in Exeter and North Devon, with scheduled opportunities to work remotely.

As a valued member of the team you will have access to a wide range of employee benefits including:

  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata), rising to 27 days with length of service
  • Occupational Maternity/Paternity & Adoption leave
  • Buying annual leave
  • Paid time off for fertility treatment
  • Pension scheme, 6% employer contributions
  • Occupational sick pay scheme
  • Counselling and financial wellbeing services

Alongside our excellent staff benefits, we will support your ongoing development to build your skills, experience and career.

The closing date for applications is 9am on Tuesday 27th October 2026.

Interviews will be held at our Head Office in Exeter on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th November 2026.
