Job summary

**For a limited time, we are offering a £10,000 Welcome Bonus to experienced nurses that apply directly and successfully join the team (T&Cs apply).**

We're looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated Good by the CQC and the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children.

You'll be part of a team that thrives on teamwork, collaboration and support for one another. And, as we offer a huge variety of courses from our own learning academy and external academic providers, our promise to you is that you will feel supported with a great opportunity to grow.

Main duties of the job

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Orthopaedics, we look to you to use your expertise to provide holistic and evidence-based care throughout the Orthopaedic pathway, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team but also autonomously as you oversee the patient journey. You'll be an advocate for the patient, providing specialist nursing advice and emotional support throughout their journey with us while also driving service development and staff education. You'll need great communication skills to succeed, but if you can bring us the experience we're looking for, we can offer you the opportunity to be part of a team that is constantly operating at the forefront of clinical innovation.
