Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead for Alwinton Ward. You will provide clinical leadership, support the Ward Manager, and drive high standards of nursing care within a medium-secure setting.

You will oversee care planning, risk assessments, staff supervision and ensure reflective practice. The role emphasizes recovery, least-restrictive practice and collaborative multidisciplinary work.

Qualifications

• ENB 998 / P126/127 or equivalent.
• Qualification to Degree level.
• Management Qualification.
• Staff Training and Development.
• Therapy Based Training qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and act as a role model for nursing care and professional practice.
• Support the Ward Manager with daily operational and clinical management of Alwinton Ward.
• Lead the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care for patients with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support plans are current and followed.
• Monitor clinical risks, review incidents and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Support safe, therapeutic care within a medium-secure environment and promote dignity and recovery.
