Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust in the UK is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead for Alwinton Ward. You will provide clinical leadership, support the Ward Manager, and drive high standards of nursing care in a secure, patient-centred environment.

You will supervise staff, oversee care planning and risk assessments, and contribute to staff development, supervision and service improvement while promoting reflective practice and learning across the team.

Formación

• ENB 998 / P126/127 or equivalent qualification.
• Degree-level qualification.
• Management qualification or equivalent development.
• Staff training and development knowledge.
• Therapy-based training qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership and act as a role model for nursing practice.
• Support Ward Manager with day-to-day operational and clinical management.
• Lead person-centred care assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are current and followed.
• Monitor clinical risks, review incidents and escalate appropriately.
• Promote safe, therapeutic care within a medium-secure environment.
• Supervise, support and develop nursing staff including supervision and appraisals.
• Promote safe medication management and safeguarding compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to plan treatment and progression.
• Monitor care quality, documentation, staffing and patient experience; drive improvements.
