Our stunning care home, Formby Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built facility located in Formby, Merseyside. The home is registered to provide care to 76 residents with a variety of needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. The home reflects the New Care vision of delivering the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care. We meet all CQC requirements and invest in our facilities to enhance residents' experiences, including programs like OOMPH, an award-winning activities and wellbeing program, and the implementation of electronic medication records and monitoring systems.


We pride ourselves on having a zero agency staff usage policy for years, employing a permanent team to ensure continuity of care. All staff are paid at least the national minimum wage.


We are seeking a kind, caring, and experienced Clinical Lead - Registered General Nurse to join our team. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will be responsible for managing the clinical area to ensure timely, high-quality care through supervision, planning, and evaluation. This is a full-time position offering an excellent salary of £51,500. Shift times are 07:45-20:00 with alternate weekends, and you will also cover as a nurse during sickness and holiday leave.


Role Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager in achieving business performance and quality targets.
  • Provide leadership and management to care home staff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure high standards of resident care and prevent poor practice.
  • Contribute to safety, quality, and financial management of the home.
  • Promote the care home within the community.
  • Safeguard the welfare of adults under your responsibility.
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Registered Nurse (1st Level)
  • Experience in managing people, services, and quality targets.
  • Background in health and social care sector.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proficiency in computer systems including Word, Excel, and in-house software.
