Working with the Assistant Clinical Director of Remote Clinical Care (Consultant Clinician), the Advanced Clinical Practice Lead will be accountable to the trust for supporting the Advanced and Advancing Clinical Practice of Remote Clinical Care across the Integrated Care Directorate, aligned to patient needs and across various healthcare settings, to ensure the development of new ways of working that align with the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS University Trust strategies.
The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of key objectives across several priorities. These will principally focus on developing Remote Clinical Care, providing senior leadership to remote clinical and non-clinical workforce and professionals.
The Advanced Clinical Practice Lead will line manage and support a range of specialist clinicians and be responsible for the effective work planning and organisation of different streams of transformational and continuous improvement work linked to Remote Clinical Care.
