Main duties of the job

  • The Advanced Clinical Practice Lead will be accountable to the trust for supporting the Advanced and Advancing Clinical Practice of Remote Clinical Care across the Integrated Care Directorate, aligned to patient needs and across various healthcare settings, to ensure the development of new ways of working that align with the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS University Trust strategies
  • The post holder will line manage and support a range of specialist clinicians and be responsible for the effective work planning and organisation of different streams of transformational and continuous improvement work linked to Remote Clinical Care
  • The Advanced Clinical Practice Lead will continuously and sustainably plan lead and deliver programmes of work that advance the remote scope, skill, confidence and competence of the remote clinical and non-clinical workforce and profession
  • The post-holder will be expected to analyse and interpret national and local data, guidance and research outcomes to inform the development of clinical delivery across Remote Clinical Care by developing robust, clinically safe, and well-governed programmes of work aligning with the wider Trust strategies
  • The Advanced Clinical Practice lead will ensure the core requirements of developing, maintaining and managing internal and external relationships to support effective delivery.
