Job summary

Capita HAAS in Northampton is seeking a Clinical Assessor/Functional Specialist to meet with benefit claimants in person, by phone or via video. The role offers a structured, flexible schedule with hybrid work (home and clinic) and no weekend or night shifts, supported by excellent training and wellbeing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an NMC or HCPC registered professional with at least one year post-registration experience, strong communication, and the ability to produce clear reports.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with PIN and no current restrictions.
• Experience in clinical assessments or related reporting.
• Proven ability to produce clear, accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments (initial reviews, face-to-face, video or telephone).
• Analyse and interpret clinical information and evidence.
• Write detailed evidence-based reports to support decision-making.
• Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and reporting.
• Develop clinical knowledge and learn health conditions continuously.
