Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a clinic administration professional to arrange the booking, reception and follow-up of out-patients for clinicians in line with agreed requirements.

You will complete all required documentation and computer records, handle any clinic difficulties and refer to a higher level when needed, and help improve processes as appropriate, including letter referrals to consultants.

Qualifications

• Arrange the booking, reception and follow up of out-patients for any clinician in accordance with agreed requirements.
• Complete all required documentation and computer records.
• Deal with any difficulties relating to the clinic, referring to a higher level if required, and make suggestions for improvement.
• Refer letters to Consultant/clinician for further advice as required.

Responsibilities

• Book and advise patients of appointments using the Trusts booking protocols.
• Ensure clinics are booked to full capacity as per the agreed schedule.
• Make suggestions as to any modification to ensure smooth running of clinic based on demand.
