Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced outpatient administrator to enter referral details into PAS and manage clinic lists. The role involves coordinating with Consultants, Outpatient Managers, and clinical staff to ensure accurate patient records and timely referrals within the 18-week pathway.

You will update electronic systems, generate clinic lists weeks in advance, and handle cancellations, rebooking, and capacity management in line with NHS policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital outpatient administration or PAS data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong communication with clinicians and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Enter tertiary referral letter details onto PAS accurately and on time.
• Manage outpatient clinic lists and 18 week RTT targets with appropriate codes.
• Liaise with Consultants, Outpatients Managers, and other staff to coordinate bookings.
• Update and maintain electronic patient records and PTL/RTT reports.
• Provide cover for colleagues and mentor junior staff when required.
