Job summary

Environment Agency Pension Fund is seeking a skilled professional to help drive its sustainability‑led Investment Strategy. The role oversees pooling partner LPPI activities and supports responsible investment across public and private markets. You will engage with members, committees and external partners to advance the Fund's purpose.

The team sits in Bristol with flexible working arrangements and opportunities to travel for meetings and oversight activities.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital in investing.
• Knowledge of LGPS and pooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Fund's investment direction and strategy.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI work through partnership arrangements.
• Report progress to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries on investment approach.
• Represent the Fund in meetings and public speaking commitments.
