Office: London (hybrid 50%)
Based in the London office, the Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients including, all non legal communications (as related to non-billable work), and relationship building with these clients with a view to elevating levels of client service/ satisfaction, protection of the portfolio as well as expanding the portfolio across the Walkers business. Other ad hoc responsibilities as Senior Management shall from time to time determine.
• Ensure good health of the CRM portfolio in respect of compliance with government and all statutory requirements, internal KYC/CDD and maintenance of AR within the CRM portfolio;
• Build trusted relationships with CRM portfolio clients on the back of pro-active, excellent client care with a view to becoming their go-to on all non legal queries and workflows;
• Act as a key point of contact for this portfolio of clients, between the client, WPS and the Law Firm, in supporting all administrative and compliance matters, as well as support for logging into client portals, billing enquiries and other non-billable/non-legal assistance;
• Work with Walkers Relationship Partners and other Senior WPS colleagues to strategise on the expansion/ cross-selling of WPS services to CRM portfolio clients, through the building of knowledge on CRM client business and requirements;
• Ensure socializing of WPS marketing materials to both clients and external intermediaries as appropriate;
• Engage with law firm and WPS marketing teams for seasonal client engagements and activities; and
• Other ad hoc projects or support on broader initiatives as maybe required within WPS from time to time.
• The individual must hold an undergraduate degree;
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a professional services, business development or relationship management role;
• Individual must be highly organised and detail oriented, with strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task;
• Strong general knowledge of the industry and market sector dynamics;
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and operate on their own initiative;
• Analytical approach; comfortable with processes; and able to work at pace either independently or with the broader team;
• Highly trustworthy with the ability to operate with discretion and sensitivity in an environment that is highly confidential;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with colleagues and clients at all levels;
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills (through English);
• Highly digitally competent and expert user of Windows/Microsoft Word/Microsoft Excel/ Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft PowerPoint.
