Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Client Project Manager in Hampshire on a 12-month contract. The role leads engineering design and construction commissions across project development, design, procurement and implementation.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, develop programmes, budgets and governance, and monitor expenditure against funding allocations for highways, transport, public realm and infrastructure projects.

Our client is seeking an experienced Client Project Manager to join them on an ongoing Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the project management of engineering design and construction commissions throughout project development, design, procurement and implementation stages.
• Acting as the project lead, managing commissions with multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of highways, transport, public realm and infrastructure projects.
• Developing and maintaining project programmes, delivery plans, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation to support effective decision making and project control.
• Managing project resources, budgets and financial performance, ensuring expenditure is monitored and controlled in line with approved funding allocations.
• Experience delivering highways, transport, infrastructure, public realm or engineering projects.
• Demonstrable experience of managing engineering design and construction commissions through the full project lifecycle.
