Run Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Project Manager to plan and deliver highways maintenance projects across Hampshire and Sussex. The role is hybrid between the regional office and live project sites, overseeing a team of Site Agents handling 2–3 projects of £100k–£1m each. Experience in civil engineering and NEC contracts is essential.

You will own client relationships at a senior level and drive risk management, design standards, and programme delivery across multiple teams.

We're recruiting a Project Manager for a top tier contractor to plan and deliver highways maintenance projects across Hampshire and Sussex. The business is main contractor working on some of the UK's largest projects as well as supporting National Highways, private clients and local authorities across the South. The role will be hybrid between their regional office and visiting live projects. You'll hold overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients, overseeing a team of Site Agents who are each managing 2-3 projects at different stages, ranging in value from £100k - £1m.

It is essential you have experience of working in the civil engineering sector and using NEC contracts - a technical background is favourable.

Project Manager responsibilities:

• Managing and developing a team of Site Agents across your projects
• Owning client relationships at a senior level, acting as the escalation point for live and future work
• Overseeing risk assessments and method statements across projects, ensuring Site Agents are producing these to standard
• Directing the engineering team's approach to long-term and short programmes
• Working with the commercial team to ensure change is captured and presented to the client
• Setting and maintaining design and quality standards across projects
• Ensuring the projects meet deadlines, managing programme performance across multiple projects and teams
