Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Client Project Manager to lead engineering design and construction commissions across the full project lifecycle in Hampshire. You will act as the project lead, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors to deliver highways, transport and infrastructure projects. The role covers programmes, budgets, risk registers, governance documentation and cost control to support decision making on a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Leading the project management of engineering design and construction commissions throughout development, design, procurement and implementation.
• Acting as the project lead, managing commissions with multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of highways, transport, public realm and infrastructure projects.
• Developing and maintaining project programmes, delivery plans, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation to support effective decision making and project control.
• Managing project resources, budgets and financial performance, ensuring expenditure is monitored and controlled in line with approved funding allocations.
• Experience delivering highways, transport, infrastructure, public realm or engineering projects.
• Demonstrable experience of managing engineering design and construction commissions through the full project lifecycle.
