• ACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience is essential.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Strong ability to manage a portfolio of clients and build professional relationships.
• Solid technical knowledge across accounts preparation and taxation.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to shape the role around career goals, including potential management progression.

Responsibilities

• Managing a client portfolio tailored to your experience and strengths, ranging from SME businesses through to more complex assignments.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
• Building trusted client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day support and advice.
• Supporting, mentoring or managing junior team members depending on your level of experience.
• Contributing ideas to improve processes and support the firm's continued growth and development.
• Managing workflow, deadlines and billing across your client portfolio.
• Gaining exposure to advisory, tax planning and business development opportunities where desired.
