CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Winchester to recruit a Client Manager or Senior Accountant. This flexible opportunity can be tailored around your experience, offering autonomy, progression and a supportive team.

You will manage a diverse client portfolio, prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns, and build trusted client relationships from day one.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Confident managing a portfolio of clients and building strong professional relationships
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and taxation
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach
• Role can be shaped around career goals, including management or senior progression

Responsibilities

• Managing a client portfolio tailored to your experience and strengths, ranging from SME businesses through to more complex assignments
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns
• Building trusted client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day support and advice
• Supporting, mentoring or managing junior team members depending on your level of experience
• Contributing ideas to improve processes and support the firm's continued growth and development
• Managing workflow, deadlines and billing across your client portfolio
• Gaining exposure to advisory, tax planning and business development opportunities where desired
