Job summary

An established accountancy practice in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to manage a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses across sectors including SaaS technology, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and consultancy.

You will build trusted relationships, provide proactive accounting and personal tax advice, oversee a team of accounts staff, and manage year-end accounts and corporation tax while contributing to advisory work and

Qualifications

• Strong experience within an accountancy practice.
• Ideally qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Comfortable managing client relationships and advisory conversations.
• Good working knowledge of tax as well as accounts for owner-managed businesses.
• Familiarity with TaxCalc, Xero, QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses across sectors.
• Build trusted relationships and provide proactive accounting and tax advice.
• Oversee and support a team of accounts staff, reviewing work.
• Manage year-end accounts, corporation tax, and management accounts.
• Advise on tax planning, including tax-efficient profit extraction.
• Get involved in wider assignments such as R&D tax claims.
