Job summary

Plantforce are recruiting a Hire Desk Controller in Weston-Super-Mare to join our fast-paced desk team. You will coordinate the ‘on hire and off hire’ process from customer request through invoicing, liaising with customers, transport, sales and the workshop to ensure accurate bookings.

You will manage multiple mailboxes, build strong relationships with major account customers and maintain detailed records. A proactive, team-focused attitude and excellent organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant hire or similar hire industry.
• Experience of the Syrinx system is desirable but training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Arrange hire contracts for equipment for bookings.
• Coordinate and liaise with Customers, Transport, Sales and the Workshop.
• Answer incoming queries via phone and email.
• Monitoring and organising contracts and invoicing.
• Working with customers to develop relationships.
• Checking availability of equipment and ensuring that details are accurate and up to date.
• Previous experience with managing multiple mailboxes.
