Job summary

Medivet & Partners is seeking a Client Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for client calls and visits, delivering exceptional care to clients, patients and colleagues in a busy veterinary practice.

You’ll handle reception duties, manage the practice diary, assist with online bookings, triage emergencies, and work as part of a supportive team. Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable, and you’ll be able to prioritise, stay calm under pressure, and learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy skills
• Experience with online appointment booking systems
• Experience in a client-facing reception role in a veterinary setting desirable

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greeting clients on arrival and updating records
• Triage emergency appointments and contact clients to rearrange
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability
• Answer client calls and manage messages
• Ensure online booking slots are available for clients
• Process repeat prescription orders
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team
