Job summary

Medivet & Partners is seeking a Client Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for client calls and visits. You will deliver exceptional care, supporting clients, patients, and colleagues. The role is 18–22 hours per week across four days (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) with 1 in 4 Saturdays.

We welcome applicants who can prioritise, stay calm under pressure, and learn quickly. Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable and will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong client-facing reception skills and numeracy are essential.
• Experience with online appointment booking systems is preferred.
• Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties: greet clients, update records.
• Triage emergency appointments and rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointments.
• Answer client calls and manage messages.
• Ensure online booking slots are available for clients.
• Process repeat prescription requests.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
