Job summary

Medivet is seeking a friendly Client Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for client calls and visits, and to organise administration for the Medivet health plan. You will deliver exceptional care to clients, patients and colleagues.

The role offers both part-time and full-time options with weekend rota at Alfreton and Beeston clinics. You will greet clients, update records, manage appointments online, and support the practice diary while providing a welcoming, calm reception.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing client-facing care and welcoming reception skills.
• Good numeracy skills and experience using online appointment booking systems.
• Able to prioritise, stay calm under pressure and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greeting clients on arrival, and updating records.
• Triage emergency appointments, contact clients and rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages; ensure slots online.
• Process repeat prescription orders.
• Complete administration tasks for the Medivet Health plan.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
