Job summary

Gower Veterinary Surgery, part of Linnaeus, is seeking a Client Care Associate to welcome clients and support front-desk operations. You will handle bookings, answer calls, and manage customer queries to ensure a smooth, friendly client experience.

The role offers training and progression within the veterinary group, with a focus on excellent communication, teamwork, and a compassionate approach to pet care.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred; veterinary practice experience a plus.
• Friendly and personable with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and registering new customers.
• Booking in customers and diary management.
• Answering the telephone and handling customer queries.
• Managing customer expectations regarding waiting times.
• Administration tasks such as scanning paperwork and form completion.
• Processing prescription requests.
• Taking payments.
• Promoting offers and services.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Care Associate to join Gower Veterinary Surgery.

Client Care Associates are integral to creating the first impression of our practice. Clients and visitors should be welcomed in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner.

Applicants must be friendly and personable, with excellent communication skills.

Previous experience in a customer facing role within a Veterinary Practice preferable.

Growth within the role is encouraged and successful applicants will be given further training.

Roles and responsibilities

• Welcoming and registering new customers.
• Booking in customers and diary management.
• Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries.
• Managing customer expectations regarding waiting times.
• Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
• Processing prescription requests.
• Taking payments.
• Promoting offers and services.
• Ensuring that public areas and consult rooms are clean and presentable.
